Tyra was in the worst situation I have ever seen a rat in. I walked into a house which had a pet boa constrictor. The snake was shedding and it's skin was over it's eyes, so even though there was "food" in the cage, the snake could not see it's prey. Tyra was cuddled up with a 5 ft boa and had been living like that for 2 weeks. Due to her sweet and trusting nature she had no idea what her fate was intended to be. I took her home to live out her life as a rattie and not as lunch.

Tyra was humanely euthanized 7-23-05. She develped a large mass on her chest. We'll Miss you Ty.
